Honestly, I have not been feeling my best in the past couple of weeks. My anxiety has been slowly coming back, and it has been crippling me and my work. Normally, I would just brush it off and hope for the best, but this past anxiety attack was a tad bit different. It had been the worst, to say the least.

This is not my typical travel nor faith post. I just want to be real, and to give you all an update about what has been happening with my life. Because lately, I have not been updating my blog nor any of my social media platforms because of, well, anxiety. It happens, and it is completely normal.

Who is your everyday hero?

This is a question that I have slowly been asking myself.

Who is your everyday hero?

Funny enough, I saw this mug at my local Target and knew in myself that I had to have it…never mind the ridiculous amount of mugs that I previously own in my house. I knew I had to have it because of the message engraved on it.

Who is your everyday hero?

They could be anyone, really. The most profound strangers you meet on the train, or your grandmother who took of you, or well, you.

For me, I think we all are everyday heroes. The people who have been battling anxiety or depression for the longest time, and still manages to wake up every single morning. They could be the people who leave their home countries in search for a better life for their families. Better yet, they could be the people who looks after us on a day to day basis. Honestly, we all do our parts in everyday society and we are all everyday heroes. For myself, at least.

So thank you for getting up this morning. I have no idea what you currently are going through, but let me tell you this, I am so, so proud of you. You are my everyday hero.

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Proverbs 19:21 NIV
