PHOTO DIARY: AKCHOUR

December 20, 2018

A few weeks ago, a couple of friends and I drove to Akchour, Morocco in a camper van. To tell you the truth, it was one of the most amazing things I could ever imagine myself doing. The scenery was breathtaking. Not to mention that the thought of driving a camper van in Africa just gave me an amazing sense of thrill.

The following photographs were taken during our drive to see the waterfalls in Akchour:

In the later years of my life, I figured that this moment will be considered one of the best moments in my life. These young travellers from all over the world sought refuge in the mountains of Africa–and in each other, they found happiness, contentment, and bliss. I, surely, will cherish this moment forever.

There were no words. There were only feelings, mutual respect, and lots of coffee and mint tea.

I hope that you all enjoyed these series of photographs that I took during our little adventure through the mountains of Africa. Akchour is, most definitely, a must see when you are visiting Morocco. It is located near the blue city of Chefchaoen. I urge you all to go and experience this wonderful place.

For now, I bid you good night from chilly Morocco. Happy holidays, and blessings!

All photographs were taken using my Canon Rebel T3i.

“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.'”
